Hydrophobic

I think I'm afraid of the water.

I purchased a pass with twenty five punches to swim at a pretty darn nice facility. I bought the pass in October and I've got two punches. Ugh. I've got to find some way to just jump in.

Wait, maybe, I know what the problem is right now:

Inconsistency.

I have yet to establish a routine and that is a bit unnerving. So I guess that's my new Ironman resolution for now:

I want to be consistent, at least until September. I think I can do that.

Consistency.

Again.

Consistency.

Again.

Consistency.....

Al,

You are consistent. Consistently not swimming ;). I feel the same way. I start to hit the pool after 6 months not touching it. I feel like I am going to drown :)

Only way to swim is to get in the water buddy.

I've got a biathlon coming up in less than 2 weeks - not sure if I have swam and run enough, but I think I will make it. :-)

Have you been to my new blog yet? http://life-2-d-full.blogspot.com/

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

It gets easier. I promise. It's just the activation energy you have to get over.

Been back a couple of times now, so I just gotta shout out and ask "what's up dude?".

It's been a while, but I just checked out Frazz again. Definitely the best link on your blog.

Don't beat yourself up. Just throw yourself in. Print out a swim workout and do it. Don't overthink it. Or show up for masters swimming--no thinking necessary.

Sounds check worked.

It was good to see you in some of those pics. You need to get some training in. You can't leave me hanging at IM MOO. I need a second SBR kit to see on the course.

Some of the '08 status items are good, especially the last one.
