Still a good race...nice job on the bike!I think I just heard Ferrah sniff sniff from your comments...I know what you mean--I thought I'd be really excited to do the short course but the more I think about it the more I miss the long course. Bizarro. Of course, watching the IMUSA feed for an hour or so didn't help.
#1 - *Jealous* I have wanted to sub 2:30 forever at the oly distance. #2 "Hmmmm, am I getting another bike?" Oooooh... now that's an interesting thought! Poor Ferrah though - from Athena to another?#3 Love the Zen. Camaraderie and contentment are good things.
Thanks for posting about your Oly race. I was feeling a bit over-whelmed by all the IM and HIM race reports out there so thanks for making it a bit easier to get my 1st Oly race report out (That's TOMORROW!). :-)Fantastic results, I will be very happy indeed to come in 60mins after you.Hmmmm... Have you tried zero off-set seat posts, shorter stems, etc... If so, maybe you DO need a Tri bike.
Great job on the race. I still think you are a short course guy with those thunder legs of yours. But the long stuff does have it's strange appeal... Hard to shake..A new fancy TRI bike? never a bad choice.
Great race!!!
Looks like you had a nice race, even with a different club.
